Naadi
A downloadable Naadi for Windows and Linux
Keep both hands on the beat. Pads roll in from either side, notes come through the middle, and a clock at the top never stops counting — miss, and it buys itself more time; land the pattern clean, and it resets straight into the next one, faster or stranger than the last.
The name itself carries the same idea. Naadi (नाडी ) is the pulse — the term used in Ayurvedic tradition for the rhythm read at the wrist, alive and shifting rather than fixed. It sits close to naad, the classical Indian concept of resonant sound at the root of rhythm and music. And the wordmark plays it out visually: half rendered in Latin letterforms, half in Devanagari-styled strokes, fused into a single continuous word rather than two scripts side by side — two things, meeting in the middle, becoming one. Same as the two hands. Same as the countdown that never really stops, just keeps resolving into whatever comes next.
How to Play
Two side lanes and one center lane feed toward a fixed point on screen.
Side lanes: pads. Press A for the left lane, D for the right, when a pad reaches the hit zone.
Center lane: notes. Left-click the note, or just hold and drag to the next note.
Later levels introduce held inputs on the side lanes: hold A or D for the duration indicated rather than a single press.
A running timer is displayed at the top of the screen. It does not stop. Missing a note increases it by 5-10 seconds. Completing a full pattern without error resets it and starts the next pattern, which may use a different tempo or time signature!
Three missed inputs in a single run end that run, and you may restart from the beginning of the level.
There are three levels, each using an isolated bass and drum stem from a source track.

Editor note: this project is quite incomplete. The menu's do not follow the theme of the game properly, visual effects don't fit in quite well; overall to sum up the development to this point - it was hurried. This game will be completed soon.
